Foundation Housing and the Brightwater Group are exploring collaboration opportunities to increase housing pathways for Brightwater clients who have an acquired neurological disability. There is currently a shortage of semi-independent, but still supported accommodation for individuals with this kind of disability.
A short list of potential properties has been identified and it’s hoped a symbiotic arrangement can be achieved where the personal care and support for this specific group of clients is provided by Brightwater, with specialised tenancy and property management provided by Foundation Housing
Such a partnership will ensure a high standard of care underpinned by stable housing that is highly appropriate to the different needs of individuals. This is an exciting collaboration with potential for both organisations to achieve improved outcomes for clients without the need for additional funding or services.
