Engaging with our community

June 27, 2019

We are always trying to improve the way we connect our tenants to their community. Neal Bodel has recently joined Foundation Housing as the Community Engagement Coordinator. Neal has a 25 year history in the community sector and over this time has worked with over 4,000 individuals.

Neal has a passion for working with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) and First Nations Communities. Having spent almost five years managing Lifelines WA Community Education Team, he regularly visited the Kimberley travelling to communities to deliver various training.

Neal’s primary focus is to develop a Community Engagement Strategy for Foundation Housing. You might see Neal out and about as he works through a number of different projects, some of these will include; increasing participation and the number of Tenant Advisory Groups, strengthening relationships with partners and community organisations, arranging community events and assisting tenants with the upcoming survey.

We welcome Neal to the Foundation Housing team.
