DESCRIPTION:As part of NAIDOC Week\, Foundation Housing has secured a limited number of tickets for tenants to attend this special cultural performance alongside Foundation Housing staff. \nJoin respected Noongar Elder\, performer and musician Dr Richard Walley OAM for an evening of storytelling and music celebrating the six Noongar seasons – Makuru\, Djilba\, Kambarang\, Birok\, Bunuru and Djeran. Accompanied by the Junkadelic Collective and special guest Adriel Opum\, the performance brings together a range of musical styles including Blues\, Jazz\, Reggae\, Funk\, Rock and Hip-hop to share the stories\, knowledge and culture of Noongar Country. \nEvent details \n\nDate: Friday 10 July 2026\nTime: 7.30pm – 8.30pm (doors open 7.00pm)\nVenue: Perth Town Hall\n\nPlease note: Tickets are limited and will be allocated on a first come\, first served basis. SUMMARY:Bush Flower Essence Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join Noongar woman and facilitator Nikki Quartermaine from Kaya Kwobidak for a unique workshop exploring the wisdom of native plants and connection to Country. \nParticipants will create their own personalised Bush Flower Essence Remedy using native flora such as Balga\, Wattle and Menzies Banksia. Similar in concept to other flower essence preparations\, the remedy is designed to be taken orally as part of a personal wellbeing practice. \nThis gentle\, hands-on workshop encourages participants to slow down\, reflect and reconnect with themselves\, nature and Country while learning about the cultural significance of Western Australia’s native plants. \n10am – 11am        Welcome and morning tea. \n11am – 12 noon    Bushflower Essence Workshop \n12 noon – 2pm       Lunch and enjoy the environment.
