Three members of Foundation Housing’s executive team took part in the annual St Vincent de Paul CEO Sleepout on 23 June to raising over $7500 for Vinnie’s homelessness services.
CEO Kathleen Gregory AM, General Manager Business Development Chris Smith and General Manager Impact and Innovation Tom Tolchard formed a team and joined with other CEOs as they slept in conditions that were somewhat like those experienced by Perth’s estimated 200 plus rough sleepers.
The Foundation Housing team are asking friends, family and associates to continue to support their effort by sponsoring them. Kathleen, Tom and Chris are keen to use the event to highlight the need to support organisations addressing homelessness through crisis care and longer term housing strategies.
“The event was an opportunity for our team to demonstrate our organisation’s values while raising awareness. Foundation Housing believe that forming strong partnerships enables us to reach far more people than working alone and so we were very pleased to be take part in this event – even if means we had a very a cold night!,” Kathleen said.
