Foundation Housing offers long-term housing options for singles, couples and families who are on low incomes.
While we do not directly provide crisis accommodation, we have partnerships with agencies that do including women’s refuges and drug & alcohol transitional housing. One agency is Entrypoint, a free assessment and referral service, that you can contact on 6496 0001 and 1800 124 684.
Social and Affordable houses are generally only available to those on the Community Housing Joint Wait List. Applicants are strongly encouraged to register with the Department of Communities for this and to tick ‘yes’ to the option to be housed by a community housing provider. This will ensure you are placed on the Joint Wait List between Department of Communities and a range of community housing organisations including Foundation Housing.
Lodging accommodation is available directly through Foundation Housing and provides you with a single, furnished room and shared facilities. In some instances, an ensuite bathroom is included in the room. You can learn more about lodging here.
Foyer Oxford is allocated directly by Anglicare staff, not through Foundation Housing. It provides fully self-contained accommodation, with the capacity to house up to 98 young people between the ages of 16 and 25, including 24 young parents and their children. Further details are available at www.oxfordfoyer.com.au.
We offer attractive key worker housing options in South Hedland. You can apply directly to us for this housing. Contact Jo Arthur for further information.
