Project sets out future accommodation options

February 16, 2016

Foundation Housing has completed a 12-month advisory project to inform future utilisation options for the City West Lotteries House (CWLH) site in West Perth.

The organisation was approached by the CWLH Board to help assess current and future accommodation needs of the building’s tenants, all not-for-profit organisations.

In partnership with architecture and urban design firm CODA, Foundation Housing delivered a project brief to Lotterywest that presents short- and long-term options for the site. It also highlights the potential for a wider asset strategy across all of the organisation’s accommodation holdings and ways in which Lotterywest can continue to assist not-for-profit organisations seeking subsidised accommodation.

Foundation Housing Projects Manager Kerryn Edwards said the organisation was approached to complete the brief due to its expertise in managing multi-stakeholder developments and the ability to facilitate accommodation and asset projects.
