Seniors asked to share their housing experience

May 11, 2016

Shelter WA and Council Of The Aged (COTA) WA are keen to hear Seniors’ views on what they think is needed to ensure housing affordability, diversity and choice in our state.

Seniors’ experiences and views are needed to inform the development of a Seniors Housing Strategy, which forms part of the Housing Authority’s Affordable Housing Strategy. Foundation Housing provides housing for individuals on the joint Social Housing / Housing Authority waitlist, so your views and experiences are really important when considering this strategy..

The Seniors Housing Strategy will aim to address the significant housing challenges facing Western Australian seniors now and into the future.

A morning tea will be held on 14 June from 9am until 11am at the Herb Graham Centre at 38 Ashbury Crescent Mirrabooka.

To register for this event, or for more information speak to staff at Shelter WA.  Phone 9325 6660 email: shelterwa@shelterwa.org.au or visit  www.shelterwa.org.au
