Scholarship Program

The two scholarships offered are:

• Educational and Development Scholarship – available to eligible tenants and residents.
• The Kaartdijin Scholarship – specifically available to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander tenants and residents. Kaartdijin means ‘knowledge’ in Noongar language.

You can use the funding to pay for lots of different things such as:

• Course fees for TAFE or university
• Text books, workbooks, study guides and computer equipment
• Uniforms, sports kit/ equipment and special equipment
• Tutoring and specialist skills development e.g., writing courses or football academies

Our scholarship recipients in recent years have achieved amazing things. Tamyrn has completed her Diploma of Accounting and is now looking at completing a second diploma; David is finishing his Bachelor of Nursing with his dream to be a Mental Health Nurse and Dylan is passionate about Computer Science and his completing his Diploma of Information Technology (Advanced Networking).

• Download an application form and email it to communications@foundationhousing.org.au or post it to Head Office.
• Pick up a form from any Foundation Housing office.

You will need to fill out the application form giving as much detail as possible. Additional documents may be required to support your application.
