We managed a Street to Home contract for several years and we have recently transitioned to a directly funded support model with dedicated staff working with Lodging residents to ensure they remain supported in their housing journey. This is part of Foundation Housing’s commitment to providing a supportive landlord model alongside a Tenancy Support Service managed across mainstream tenancies which is also fully funded by Foundation Housing.
Foundation Housing’s free and confidential Tenancy Support Service connects tenants with external support agencies who can assist them to manage and sustain their tenancy. It involves tenants working alongside their Housing Coordinator and the Tenancy Support team to identify issues which are impacting their ability to manage their home. Once this connection is made, the Tenancy Support Team work with tenants to identify appropriate support agencies, coordinate referrals and help develop an action plan to address issues before they seriously impact a tenancy.
