Exciting commercial kitchen opportunity

Foundation Housing wants to partner with organisations that can help it to activate a fully refurbished and equipped commercial kitchen in its Hampton Road lodging house in Fremantle.

It’s an opportunity that would suit an organisation that uses food preparation to provide inclusion and training opportunities for people, or that prepares food to help disadvantaged people either directly or via fundraising.

Tom Tolchard from Foundation Housing said the community housing organisation was eager to hear from groups who could make the most of this great resource that is the result of a generous grant from Fremantle’s Impact 100 network and that was delivered by arts organisation FORM.

“Foundation Housing is really pleased to be able to offer this great piece of specialised infrastructure.  We would be particularly keen to hear from organisations that can use the kitchen to provide opportunities for inclusion of the 192 people living at the lodge.

Kitchen specifications include:

• Stainless Steele bench tops
• Walk in cool room
• Walk in dry store
• Commercial stove and oven
• Commercial dishwasher
• Commercial quality pots and pans
