Community Engagement

Foundation Housing encourages tenants to get involved and have a voice in the services and programs we deliver.

There are many ways to participate and help shape decisions about your housing, neighbourhood and community — from contributing to the Tenant Newsletter to joining the Tenant Reference Committee and other engagement opportunities.

Tenant Newsletter

We publish a quarterly Tenant Newsletter, delivered by email or post. We encourage tenants to contribute stories, ideas or updates to help ensure the content is relevant and reflects our community.

Submissions can be sent to communications@foundationhousing.org.au.

Tenants and Residents Committee (TRC)

The Tenant Reference Committee (TRC) is made up of tenants and residents from across our portfolio who have nominated to represent their communities. Elections are held every two years, with meetings taking place quarterly.

TRC members contribute to policy discussions, provide feedback on issues impacting tenants, and advise on tenant communication and engagement. The Committee plays an important role in ensuring tenant voices are heard within Foundation Housing.

Visit our TRC page to learn more or find out how to get involved.

Tenant Survey

We conduct an independent Tenant Satisfaction Survey every two years, managed by CHIA NSW, to anonymously benchmark our performance and ensure we continuously improve based on tenant feedback.

Scholarship Program

Foundation Housing is committed to supporting tenants and residents to build skills and pursue further education. Scholarships of up to $2,000 are available to assist with course fees or related expenses, helping to strengthen employment and future opportunities.

Visit our Scholarship Program page to learn more.

Feedback

We welcome feedback and suggestions from our tenants at any time. You can share your feedback by phone, email, completing the online form on our website, or by speaking directly with your Housing Coordinator.

To learn more or lodge feedback, visit our Complaints and Feedback page here.
