Janelle is an experienced Non-Executive Director and a leading Corporate Advisor with over 25 years in strategy, governance and transformation advisory across Asia, Australia and global markets. She has extensive experience across WA’s business, government, and community sectors with deep expertise across multiple industries.
She is the Founding Managing Director of StepBeyond Strategy, a boutique, impact-driven strategy and sustainability advisory supporting organisations and their communities to shape and create sustainable value. Before this, Janelle held senior positions in the advisory arms of KPMG Melbourne and EY Perth.
Janelle is a Fellow Australian Institute of Company Directors, Fellow Governance Institute of Australia, holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts and is both a Telstra Business Award and WA Business News 40Under40 Award Winner.
She serves as Commissioner of Tourism WA, Deputy Chair of the WA Arts and Culture Trust and is the Chair of both WA statutory authority Audit and Risk Committees. Some of her former roles include Deputy Chair at Ability WA, Councillor at Edith Cowan University, Councillor at Charles Darwin University and Chair of Screenwest.
