Tenants & Residents Committee

Purpose

The purpose of the Tenants & Residents Committee (known as TRC) is to provide a forum for tenants and residents to provide feedback regarding the way in which Foundation Housing services are delivered to create safe, secure, sustainable and affordable housing.

The Role of the TRC

  1. To provide a representative tenant and resident voice regarding the development and review of new and existing Foundation Housing policies, procedures and programs that impact residents and tenants.
  2. To provide a forum for Foundation Housing to provide feedback to tenants and residents about how their views are impacting the design and delivery of services.
  3. To be a conduit for tenants and residents to raise broad issues with the Foundation Housing Executive, including the ability to make representations to the TSEC (as appropriate) regarding matters of interest to tenants.
  4. To provide feedback to Foundation Housing as to how to engage and/or communicate issues of broad interest to tenants and residents.
  5. To provide input into the development of an annual tenant engagement plan including the development of tenant and resident led initiatives particularly those which reduce social isolation through the provision of social activities.
