Hedland Aboriginal Home Ownership Program

The Hedland Aboriginal Home Ownership Program (HAHOP) supports Aboriginal individuals and families in South Hedland to build a pathway towards home ownership.

Delivered in partnership with Bloodwood Tree Association, the program provides affordable rental housing alongside personalised support to help participants achieve their goals. This includes assistance with employment, education, financial wellbeing, budgeting and household management, empowering participants to build the skills and confidence needed to transition into private rental or purchase their own home.

As the housing provider, Foundation Housing manages the homes and works closely with participants to support successful tenancies and greater housing independence. Together with our partners, we’re helping create long-term opportunities for Aboriginal families to build stronger futures through safe, secure and affordable housing.
