Purchase the frame (aluminium or vinyl) if needed, screen and rubber spline (piping) if needed. You will also need to buy or borrow tools to complete the task.
Remove this from the trench that surrounds the screen, using a screwdriver all the way around.
Use a paint brush to clean the trench once the spline is removed.
Lay the screen over the frame. Leave approx. 50mm overhang of the area to be screened.
Carefully use the spline-roller to indent the screen.
Take your spline, and gently lay it into the trench.
Take the spline-roller and gently press the piping into the trench. This will take 2 to 3 passes to ensure it is properly secured.
If the screen sets to your satisfaction, carefully trim the excess screen with a utility knife.
Now you are ready to re-install your repaired frame and screen into place.
