Construction is continuing to take shape at Rise@Murdoch, with the 213-home social and affordable housing development becoming an increasingly prominent feature of the Murdoch skyline.
Located within the Murdoch Health and Knowledge Precinct, Rise@Murdoch is an important addition to Perth’s social and affordable housing supply, providing more housing choice in a well-connected location close to employment, education, healthcare and public transport.
Recent construction milestones include completion of the Level 5 suspended slab pours and continued progress on the building’s jump-form core, with the structure steadily rising.
Once complete, Rise@Murdoch will deliver 213 new homes, comprising 65 social and 148 affordable rental apartments, supporting individuals a
nd households seeking secure, quality housing.
Situated near Fiona Stanley Hospital and Murdoch University, the development will connect residents with essential services, employment opportunities and established community infrastructure.
The project is being delivered by Foundation Housing in partnership with Human Urban, PACT Construction, Plenary and HASSELL, demonstrating the importance of collaboration in delivering much-needed housing across Western Australia.
Supported by State and Commonwealth Government funding, Rise@Murdoch is expected to be completed in 2028.
As construction continues, Foundation Housing looks forward to sharing further milestones as this significant development moves closer to welcoming its future residents.
