Foundation Housing worked closely with Activ – WA’s largest disability support provider – and the future residents to ensure their individual accessibility requirements were met. Each fully adapted home features:

• 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms
• Kitchen, dining and two living areas
• European laundries
• Single garage and storage
• Front porch and alfresco area
• Shared communal courtyard for enhanced sociability
• Full home automation for lights, air-conditioning, blinds, security alarm and video intercom
• Quality finishes, high ceilings, wide hallways and banks of windows to take in park views
• Solar power and two hours standby power
• Waterwise gardens.

The homes achieved a 7-star environmental rating. Sustainability features included:

• 3,000L rainwater tanks connected to toilets and washing machines to recycle water
• Double glazing to all windows for better heating, cooling and insulation
• Solar panels and battery backup systems to reduce electricity use.
